UMSHoF Member Calvin James set a school record with 3 triples in a12-9 Hurricanes victory over South Alabama at Mark Light Field ! CJ would tie his own school record on April 5th, 1985 with 3 triples against the University of Southern California in an 11-1, 7 inning victory in a tournament in Oklahoma City ! Calvin remains the ONLY Miami Hurricanes baseball player to have recorded 3 triples in a game in the program's history ! View CJ's UMSHoF Induction Video below

This Date in Hurricanes History...February 2nd, 2005... Robert Hite scores 17 points against Virginia Tech to become the 27th player in UM history to record 1,000 career points ! Hite would end his Miami career as the 5th leading scorer of all time with 1,717 points
