UMSHoF Member Calvin James set a school record with 3 triples in a12-9 Hurricanes victory over South Alabama at Mark Light Field ! CJ would tie his own school record on April 5th, 1985 with 3 triples against the University of Southern California in an 11-1, 7 inning victory in a tournament in Oklahoma City ! This Date in Hurricanes History...February 2nd, 2005... Robert Hite scores 17 points against Virginia Tech to become the 27th player in UM history to record 1,000 career points ! Hite would end his Miami career as the 5th leading scorer of all time with 1,717 points
